  • What makes Easy Aquariums different from other pet/aquarium stores?
    At Easy Aquariums we pride ourselves in our ability to offer the most accurate and up-to-date science based care and advice to ensure your animals thrive in the proper sized and healthy ecosystem. Our highly trained staff are available to answer questions about any animal in our store and many many more to ensure you have all the knowledge and tools required to have the best possible experience, for you and your animals, to grow to their best potential and live their best lives. Another aspect that set us apart from many other pet stores is our strict quarantine process. All of our freshwater and saltwater fish undergo weeks of observational and medicated quarantine, where our trained animal health experts provide appropriate care, food, and medications to promote healthy growth AND eliminate any parasites, illness, or other undesirable afflictions before the animals reach the sales floor. We provide this additional time and care to our livestock to ensure our fish are healthy, strong, and ready to be added to your personal ecosystems.
  • What is your quarantine process?
    We quarantine all of our freshwater fish for 2-4 weeks and saltwater fish for 4-6 weeks. Our animal healthcare experts observe the animals and administer medications prophylactically and as needed to ensure the healthiest and most vibrant fish for you!
  • Do you accept surrendered animals?
    Yes! We are a non-refusal facility and will accept surrendered animals at no charge. Please call ahead before bringing in any live creatures.

  • Do you offer online sales?
    We do not offer online sales at this time.
  • What do you have in-stock?
    We offer a wide range of ever changing animals in both of our store locations, for the most comprehensive list of what is currently available in store, please call to speak to one of our staff to get the most up-to-date inventory or message us on Facebook.

  • Can I request specific fish or numbers of fish to buy at your store?
    Absolutely! Simply call your local Easy Aquariums to talk to one of our trained experts and they will take your name, phone number, species name you are requesting, and the quantity of what you would like ordered, and we will call you when your order is ready for pick up once it has gone through our quarantine process (2-4 weeks on average).   • Do you sell reptiles/amphibians and their accessories?
    Our Westbrook location has lots of reptile and amphibian accessories including tanks, substrate, lighting, heat pads, live & frozen foods, and more! We also have a growing selection of amphibians and reptiles in our Reptile Room, with new items monthly. Our Portsmouth location does not offer reptile accessories or feeders at this time but does have aquatic amphibians such as axolotls and aquatic frogs.   • Do you carry frozen or live feeders?
    Our Westbrook location offers a wide variety of both frozen and life feeders from rodents to insects. Call during business hours to learn more about availability. The Portsmouth location offers a limited selection of frozen rodents but does not carry live feeders.
  • Do you sell water?
    Yes! We offer reverse osmosis de-ionized water (RODI) at $1.50/gal, and pre-mixed saltwater at $3.00/gal at both locations. Bring your own buckets and/or jugs and use our self service filling stations.
  • What if my product is defective, missing pieces, or broken in its packaging?
    Please contact Easy Aquariums IMMEDIATELY by calling the store location the item was purchased from. We are more than happy to work with you to either fix or replace the item (at EA's sole discretion). Our manufacturers often have different policies and warranties, but our friendly staff are prepared to help navigate the issues until the problem is resolved.
  • Can you order me a specific item or part?
    Yes! Give your local Easy Aquariums a call during business hours to find out what is available in store or to see if it is something we can order for you. All we need is your name, phone number, item(s) you are looking for , and we will call you when it arrives.
